Sales representatives who meet the following profile and are hired by GMB as independent contractors will be required to enter into a definitive written contract with GMB describing each party’s obligations and responsibilities. If you are interested in joining our productive sales team, call or email us.
Signing on qualified Sales Representatives
1. Representatives that are interested in signing on should be rep firms that have state of the art communications methods. Reps must be accessible through a land line with voice mail or a secretary, have a wireless mobile phone that the rep can be contacted on during business days from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm and through the close of a business day on the west coast if you are working with customers from there.
2. Representatives must be willing to solicit disposable assets from every principal, customer and potential customer. Reps must also solicit these groups to identify their needs for wanted assets and future requirements.
3. Representatives must be able to digitally photograph each asset, upload it on to the globalmachinebrokers.com Web Application and enter the proper item description.
4. Representatives should have a broad band internet connection such as cable or DSL for accessing the GMB web site and uploading digital photos.
The Listing and Selling Process
Global Machine Brokers Sales Representatives will seek out corporate surplus equipment through their existing sales channels, be it their principals or customers, and secure an exclusive agreement for GMB to sell their surplus equipment.
While the equipment is for sale, dealers or corporate personnel can inspect the asset at the source by contacting GMB directly, at which time GMB will enlist the sales rep from the selling territory to meet the interested party at the seller’s facility for the asset inspection. Then the interested party can make an offer to purchase the asset after they have inspected it, if the asset meets their needs. Otherwise, interested buyers can make offers on the asset without an on-site inspection. Sales Representatives will work with customer service on scheduling, payment and services by providing them with pertinent details as necessary.
